Introduction to Music
Ages 3-6

The Introduction to Music Class is a course that is unique to Nevada School of the Arts. The curriculum is designed to prepare students and parents to begin private music lessons by involving them in an exploration of rhythm, pitch, instruments of the orchestra, musical terminology, focus and concentration, and parent education. Introduction to Music is a wonderful opportunity for children to be exposed to various instruments and their sounds. This exposure enables families to better decide which instrument they would like their children to further study. This class may be taken before or after the Cycle of the Seasons, however, it is recommended to have the students participate in at least one semester of the Musik Garten curriculum before the Introduction to Music class to ensure optimum success.
Introduction to Music Classes will start during the week of January 26, 2008 at 11:00 am. It is designed for children ages 3 - 6 with parent participation. The cost is $250.00. Classes will be held at the Nevada School of the Arts.
